This Hatco GRDH-2P countertop heated display case uses an infrared heat pattern and heated shelf base to ensure displayed foods are warm when purchased. A top-mounted, pre-focused infrared heating element directs heat to the shelf’s outer edge-where most heat escapes-to avoid heat loss and cold spots. Operators can adjust the base’s temperature from 100 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit with the thermostat to create an optimal holding environment. Despite the case’s high interior temperatures, its base’s cool construction minimizes heat transfer so its exterior remains cool.
